Wagons For 2 Year Old Boys
Both of my boys loved pulling a wagon. When my youngest son was born my oldest son, then 7 years old, begged to pull his little brother in the wagon. He wasn’t very old when we padded the wagon with baby blankets and wrapped him up for his first ride. Surprisingly he enjoyed it…I think he liked the vibrations.
Any of these wagons would be an excellent gift for a two year old. You could pull him around now and when he gets older he could pull the wagon himself. I enjoyed going for walks with both of my boys and pulling them in their wagon. Since my kids are 7 years apart, we have had two different plastic wagons and both were excellent quality and lasted for years.
Sand Boxes And Other Sand Toys For Toddlers
Toddlers and preschoolers love sand toys, especially sandboxes or sand and water tables. There’s just something about being able to get dirty. My boys loved playing in the sand with trucks, shovels, buckets, and even dinosaurs. We used to play a game where we’d hide the dinosaurs and they’d dig them up….it was so much fun to watch them dig for dinosaurs.
Water Toys For Two Year Olds
What’s not to like about getting in the water on a hot day? I think all kids love sprinklers and any other toy that will get them wet. The water park water table below is a great choice to play with when it’s warm outside. This is also a great option for kids that may be afraid of a pool, but like splashing.
Riding Toys For A Two Year Old Boy
Riding toys have always been popular with my boys, and one that lasted the longest was the Little Tikes Cozy Coupe car you can see below. It made it through my youngest and my oldest even thought it was fun to lay on top of it for some reason. My oldest pushed my little one around the yard and when we wouldn’t do that my youngest would ride in it himself. There’s a small compartment behind the seat that always seemed to be filled with rocks. I highly recommend the Cozy Coupe because of the fun my kids had with it and the durability is unmatched.
The Radio Flyer 4-in-1 Trike featured below is something I wish was availible when my youngest was a toddler. It’s a tricycle stroller that grows with your child, how cool is that!
Balance Ride On Toys For A Two Year Old
The balance motorcycle below was a hit with my son when he played with it at a friend’s house. He loved riding down a hill on it. This would be great to help a young child learn how to balance before teaching them how to ride a bike. The motorcycle is made of a heavy duty plastic and is durable.
Kids Roller Coaster – King Of Outdoor Toys
What kid wouldn’t want their own personal roller coaster. This coaster could keep your toddler happy for hours! It’s easy to teach your child how to push the car back once they go down and the small steps are perfectly sized for a two year old. The track breaks apart for easy storage. This would be excellent for rainy or cold days.
Some Of My Boys Favorites When They Were 2
My boys liked a variety of toys when they were two, but some of their favorites included trucks, sports toys, and toy mower. My youngest still plays with his mower and truck and he’s six now! He just loves mowing with his dad.
