When I was a kid we had a huge sandbox under a fort in my grandparent’s backyard. We would play for hours with buckets and shovels, building huge castles with moats around them. Sometimes we’d make a race track or drive dump trucks through the sand.
My boys also loved sandboxes, and my youngest son still does. Give him sand and a shovel and he’s one happy boy, and I’m one happy mama to have him in one place for more than a few minutes.
Below you’ll find a variety of sandboxes, but my favorites are the wooden sandboxes with shades. The wooden sandboxes are durable and attractive, the shades protect your child from the harmful rays of the sun. Which is your favorite?
